Founded in 1962 and still family owned FUCHS Fördertechnik AG has evolved into a specialist for diverse and versatile materials-handling technology and crane systems.
The ever increasing requirements – especially in the shipbuilding industry – led and still lead to a development and custom-made production of innovative cranes and crane systems of different types as well as trolleys. These are used as engine room cranes, pump room cranes, storage & workshop cranes, wind turbine cranes or hose handling cranes in the marine & offshore industry.
For special ship designs FUCHS offers innovative solutions and accepts every challenge. Those include special cranes and systems for mega yachts such as for the handling of tender boats, jet skis or provisions. For navy & coast guard vessels FUCHS develops and manufactures systems like helicopter service cranes or special cranes for handling of ammunition, torpedoes and fire walls.

All cranes and crane systems are designed and manufactured in the factory in Hamburg, Germany. Maximum quality of the finished product is ensured by their DNV-certified quality management control system in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001 and by the individual tests carried out by the clients and their nominated classification society e.g. ABS, BV, DNV GL, LR, RINA or all other testing authorities.
